But sustainably grown coffee has never been more in demand than it is today: almost one in three Germans (31%) drink coffee from controlled cultivation at home, with this figure rising among younger generations. And the instant market also harbors considerable potential: in 2019, revenue amounted to roughly €2,162.0 million and is forecast to reach a market volume of €2,279.2 million in 2023, which corresponds to annual revenue growth of 1.3% (CAGR 2019–2023).
