Green Coffee

Food-conscious consumers are today turning increasingly to buying products from controlled organic farming for daily use. This applies to selecting their coffee as well.
Wertform uses only the finest highland coffees for roasted and instant products. This guarantees the high quality of the company’s purely organic products.
Herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and chemically synthetic fertilisers are strictly not used in organic cultivation. This means that the raw materials retrain the whole spectrum of their natural aroma.


Quality Management

Our grower partners in all coffee producing countries are regularly inspected and certified by wellknown recognised grower associations.
Wertform is a member of IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movemnts) and of BNN (Bundesverband-Naturkost-Naturwaren) – (National Association for Natural Food and Natural Products), the Demeter-Bund and various European grower associations.
All our operations which are involved in growing, exporting, storing, treating and processing organic products must be certified by independent state-registered control agencies.

Our company group owns certifications from all international acknowledged 'Higher Level' Food Standarts like IFS (International Food Standart), BRC (British Retail Consortium), ISO 9001:2000 and of course from the HACCP-CONCEPT.


Fair Trade

One of the basic principles of ecological management is the establishment of a partnership and relationship between business partners based on mutual understanding and joint agreements.
The consciousness that “we are one world” commits us to the development and maintenance of long-term and stable cooperative relationships.
Conversion to ecological production takes time and requires long-term financial cooperation as a secure basis.
Wertform regards the fostering of fair dealings on all levels with its grower partners as an essential component of its work. This approach is the only one which guarantees that there is an excellent overall situation in individual plantations and that support can be provided where needed to achieve concrete improvements.
Wertform is registered as importer as well as producer by FLO (Fairtrade Labelling Organisations International. Wertform is also licensee of TransFair e.V. Germany Organisation.
